By accessing or using StatusAlert ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service. The Service is operated by STEPlus ("we", "us", or "our").

2. Description of Service

StatusAlert is a SaaS uptime monitoring platform that monitors websites, APIs, servers, and databases. The Service includes monitor checks, incident management, public status pages, alerting, and reporting.

3. User Accounts

You must create an account via our Identity service to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activities under your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the Service. This includes but is not limited to: using the Service to monitor resources you do not own or have permission to monitor, causing undue load on third-party systems, or using the Service for any unlawful purpose.

5. Data Retention

Monitor check data is retained according to your organisation settings. You may configure data retention periods within the Service. We reserve the right to delete data after the configured retention period.

6. Service Availability

We strive to provide high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Scheduled maintenance windows will be communicated in advance. We are not liable for downtime or data loss.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, STEPlus shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
